At the IAACA Executive Committee meeting held in May 2011 in Doha, Qatar, agreement was given to an initiative suggested by the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) Hong Kong to organise an international anti-corruption public service announcement video competition/showcase and workshop for members of the Association.

This initiative aims to promote and implement one of the Work Plan objectives to raise public awareness of the fight against corruption in all countries and the role played by IAACA in that process. The event will provide an opportunity for members to share and discuss how to use multi-media as an effective means to engage the public in the anti-corruption and offer participants a platform to showcase examples of original production from their own country or region.
